The check-out process is clearly stated in the contract. Both the operator and the resident must give notice of check-out at least 2 months prior to the expiration date of the contract. If the operator fails to give notice of check-out 2 months prior, they cannot evict the resident. Similarly, if the resident fails to give notice of check-out 2 months prior, the contract will be automatically renewed under the same conditions as the previous contract.
This is not an internal guideline of the sharehouse, but rather the "Rental Protection Law" of South Korea.
1. Will I receive a refund if I check out early?
Even if you check out on the 12th day, 8 days before the check-out date, there will be no refund for the 8th day.
However, if you check out earlier than the original schedule due to coordination with the next resident, we can calculate the number of days and assist with the refund process.
2. Check-out Checklist

We understand that there may be a lot of trash when you pack up your belongings.
However, you should not just throw the trash anywhere!
Please make sure to purchase personal trash bags and dispose of the trash yourself when you remove your belongings!! You can dispose of the trash in the designated area outside the building.
If you are disposing of furniture or large items, you must contact the recycling center, report it, and attach the report number when disposing of them.

Did you clean the room you used?
You must remove both your belongings and trash.
If the cleaning is unsatisfactory or if you fail to send photos, you may be charged a cleaning fee of 50,000 KRW and additional fees may be charged if there is contamination on the bed mattress or wallpaper.
"It was like that before" will not be accepted. It is stated in the move-in guide that you should inform us immediately after moving in! It is the same as renting a car. If it was not confirmed at the beginning and you say it was there when you check out, there is no way to confirm it. If someone else's belongings are in your area, you must confirm ownership in the group chat and organize them.

The house chat room is a space for residents. Please check out in the house chat room as soon as you check out. . # If you fail to check out, you will be removed.
After confirming that there are no issues with the furniture, cleaning, etc., we will settle the security deposit and refund it to the resident's account within 7 days at the latest. Only accounts with the same name as the resident can receive the refund.
Before sending the security deposit, we will send you the refund amount and details for confirmation. Once confirmed, it will be refunded to the account you provided on the check-out application.

If the payment is sent via PayPal, fees will be deducted. If you do not want these fees to be deducted, please ensure you have a Korean bank account ready.
Please understand that it may take some time due to utility bill settlement, so please allow up to 7 days.
If the refund is not made within 7 days, please summon the manager.

Calculation method for daily rent when checking out
Monthly rent ÷ 30.4 × Contract end date
e.g.) Contract ends on January 19th, monthly rent is 480,000 KRW
480,000 ÷ 30.4 (365 days ÷ 12) × 19 = 189,473
[Since the number of days varies each month, it is calculated using 30.4, which evenly divides the year into 12 months.]
3. Check-out Time
The check-out date is in the morning on the contract end date.
It is similar to checking out in the morning and having a new person move in in the afternoon.
If it is difficult to check out by the morning (12 PM), please contact the manager at least 5 days in advance to discuss and arrange the situation.
4. Check-out fee
According to the contract, there is a 30,000 won check-out fee, which will be collected in the house refresh following the check-out and used later at once
